Buick are renowned for building high quality, strong performing cars at a affordable price. In the 1920’s Buick refined their model range, offering an all new six-cylinder model to supplement the four-cylinder range.

Using a stronger chassis and a longer wheelbase of 128 inches, the 1924 six-cylinder models came with the addition of front brakes as standard, while the engine was increased to 255 cubic inches featuring a detachable cylinder head and aluminium crankcase.

With the engine rates at 70 bhp, it gave the Buick with strong performance and a reputation for highway cruising and coupled with a 3-speed gearbox. The Buick Master 6 is ideally suited to 100 – 110 kph without strain.

Buick offered two types of trim levels, Standard and Master, with Master having the higher level of detail.

Buyers had a wide variety of body styles including Sedans, Roadsters, Coupes, and Tourers.

Options included Motometer, front and rear bumpers and wind deflectors.

Our beautiful 1924 Buick Master 6 seven-seater Tourer has been loving resorted over 29 years at a cost I am told more than $200,000.

The bodywork has been fully refurbished, the upholstery re-done, a new hood and side curtains made, new carpet and the nickel replated. Equipped with full weather curtains, front and rear bumpers, wire wheels, some tools, photos of the restoration, owners and parts manuals, this Buick is an ideal club car and would be a concourse contender.
